It is with great sadness that I have to pass on to you all that our dear friend amber has passed away.

Amber collapsed on Sunday morning and was taken to hospital she then passed away on Sunday evening. I will let you all know as soon as I hear anything else folks.

'amber', 'theres nothing i can say, nothing i can do, we take the people we meet & get to know on here into our hearts minds & lifes, in the real wed pass them in the street, yet on here at times we know them like family, & in a way we are all an extended family.through this site & other mediums amber has helped so many including myself, sadly she'll only no how many , & how many cared , from looking down on us, but the end result counts more than words, this been she did help she was there & did make peeps lifes richer n better.
which only leaves to say theres a big whole in the world left by amber on this sad day for us all.

How one can move so many to tears and not really know them. Amber was a friend who was there when needed and held her hand out to many of us when I first came here she was there for me and also gave me a prayer for a lightworker so now I give her one back hope she likes it ...

It was an honour knowing you,
you gave your love to many,
you gave each one a rose,
given with love from you to any.
We will hold you close,
within our hearts,

before you had to go.

would come into the rooms
and climb upon her highest branch,
to look upon us loons.

Our most honorary lightworker, moved on,
she did not die.
She touched the hearts of many,

Amberdrake's friend of 25 years Arachna-MY Teacher, and I, Heartstone Amberdrakes Teacher and friend want to say a few words here....

Amberdrake, was devout in her spiritual beliefs, and sought and questioned for many many years along her spiritual pathway, and her one requirement was to pass it on to at least one person....

She, a teacher in her own right, came here to all of you, and loved you all very very much, and chose to share with YOU....and in your grief at this time of loss we want you to know we extend our love to you as we did to her. We know how much you will miss her presence....becauese we also miss her deeply.

BUT ALWAYS, ALWAYS REMEMBER THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AWAY OR GONE....She is with us still and always. Amberdrake is now her true self and is just on the otherside where we can visit with her and she us, and continue to share her love for us.

In Love and Light may your pathway be Bright....

feel or see. Amber gave her brightness and healing to all she met and
touched.

A sadness has descended on us all at mystic, who were priviledged to have encountered that, chatted with, and been healed by the special soul that Amber was.

A light seems gone from our daily lives, one that will always be missed, but Amber's light lives on in our heart's,
and will shine always in our souls, the parts of us she touched with light.

Sorrow for loss of Amber in this world:', 'I had the pleasure to talk to Amberdrake on a couple of occasions and know that people with good hearts do not go to far. She may not be here in the form we see as human but i know she watches us all from the place i know as the spirit world. We will miss you for a short time Amberdrake but we will know you are among us in the very near future.

The same night you speak of ..
It was dark night here and really don't know what time it was, maybe after 10 USA, central time.
Anyway I heard a bird, now birds are not out at that time of night here.
The song it was singing was so up beat.
It sang its song twice, with a pause in between both times. Not a long pause.
But as this was happening, all i could think of was Amber.
She is happy, and has a beautiful song to sing now, and shared it with me

Another star has been born in the sky tonight. Amberdrake will take her place with all the others and will continue to bring light and love into everyone's life. She will be greatly missed by us all. On Sunday evening a light, a great light went out in the world , a light that will be sorely missed by not only the people Amber helped , both in healing and understanding , but by her many friends of which i was one.

We had a chat one evening Amber and i one of many, and i had remarked that she was in the library of the world , her knowledge was second to none, i learnt so much from Amber, and i had said that she should go to the window in this library, get on the dove, and go fly round the heavens, lol she laughed , and said , well maybe lol well Amber lovey the great dove came for you , i see you now floating in the sun, the warm breeze in your hair and on your face, a look of pure bliss on your face :lol: Be at peace Amber, i shall miss you very much .

'A message from Ambers Daughter', 'The woman you folks knew as AmberDrake was my mother. It has taken me a few days to read through all of the wonderful messages you folks have written in her honor. It has been a week since Mom's passing and only now can I begin to smile through the tears.

I wish to thank all of you (and I know Mom does too) for your kind words and beautiful poems which have brought her family much comfort during this difficult time. The wonderful people on this site knew Mom in a way that I didn't. I knew about her work here of course, but I truly had no idea how much she was loved and how many people she helped.

I knew her in a way you folks didn't . . . in her day-to-day life. As I'm sure you all know, she was (is) a quiet and gentle soul who lived a quiet, simple life. She was very kind and loved to laugh, and lived her life honestly and with an integrity I can only hope to live up to.

I want you all to know that Mom's work on here was one of the most important things in her life in her last couple of years. She dedicated herself to teaching and helping, and she truly believed that she was fullfilling her purpose on this earth by doing so. In the process, she made a circle of close friends who became a "cyberfamily". Thank you all for taking her into your hearts and helping her light to shine brighter.

Once again, thank you for your suport and kindness. You have no idea how much it means to us to know that she made a difference in so many lives and was loved by so many people. The tribute is absolutely beautiful and I know Mom is as touched as I am.

'I first encountered Amber in the 'wild days' on the olde MSN......

It was very late at night and I was just about to be booted,
(yet again), from a 'Spiritual' Chat Room because I had trampled
on the Owner's delicate ego......
Suddenly, into my loft, popped the lovely Amber,
just to say - "I agree with ya Fil !"

Sadly the rest of her message was lost as I was duly 'booted'

We caught up with each other again a few nights later, carried on from where we had been interupted and, somehow, after a lotta water passing under a lotta bridges, we found ourselves in 'cahoots' together as Elders on this wonderful Site

People have expressed their sentiments about Amber's qualities of
Spirit, Energy, Empathy, Compassion and....just plaine olde 'Niceness'.
She would, I am sure, be totally overwhelmed by the size of the ripples
that she has graciously - yet innocently - created, not only here on
MysticFamiliar but in other places too

OOOOOWWWWW!
I sure am gunna miss Amb crashing into my loft
with some exceedingly sharp quip..........or two

'My dearest Amberdrake', 'Hello Everyone,

My name is Melanie and I too was a friend of Amber, but I knew her in her regular life. It has been wonderful to read all of your poems and sweet messages to her. I wanted to thank you as Amber's Daughter did for these wonderful blessings. Amber was like a mother to me, I called her "Mom". She was my friend, mentor, and special "Mom" for 20 years. I became friends with Amber's daughter in grade 5 and quickly developed a special bond with Amber. She always told me that I have gifts that I need to embrace. I knew she was right but was scared to allow myself to further develop my special gifts. I didn't want to know things that I felt I shouldn't... Her passing was very hard. I'm still in disbelief. I thought she'd be here forever! But... I know she's here more than ever now! She is in all we do and all we live. She watches over us and guides us with her eternal love. I'm sure with her continued guidance I will learn to embrace my gifts and cherish them. I cherish her and think of her now as my "Very Special Angel". Amber was a gentle, kind soul. I hope that I can embody some of her gifts in my own life to help carry on Amber's love and caring.

'It is with great sadness that my Wife and I post this message even tho Amberdrake may not be with us now in the physical her sprit and words will always be with us. We only spoke with her the once but her world and kind words will be with us always. :cry:

'Memorial for Amberdrake Sunday 21st November 10pm UK time', 'There will be a memorial evening of remembrance for our dear friend Amberdrake (Amber). This will take place in the Healing Sanctuary (room 5) at 10pm on Sunday 21st November. All are welcome to attend. Meet in room 1 Chill & Chat first.

Everyone will have the opportunity to share their thoughts about Amber at the conclusion of the evening.

The evening will start with a background about Amber and her time spent at Mystic Familiar. A prayer will then be offered for Amber. Everyone will then be invited to lay a flower in the room, if they wish to. You will be able to say what flower you have brought with you and the significance of the particular flower, if you wish to.

We will then share a healing intention and meditation. All are invited to reflect on what Amber shared with us and to focus on those for who healing is to be given. This will be a personal intention and a period of silent reflection and meditation lasting ten minutes or so. During this intention you are invited to see the flowers all joining together, woven by our love for Amber to form a bouquet to remain in the Healing Sanctuary.

We will then all join together in chat to celebrate and remember Amber, what she means to us and the things she shared and gave to us. Also general healing chat and thoughts.

Hosted by Sol, Dovey and Simon. Please arrive in good time if you can as we hope to start at 10pm.
