June Crystal of the Month Pearl

Crystal Meaning:

The Modern gemstone for June is the beautiful Pearl. 
Pearls symbolize Purity, Spiritual Transformation, Charity, Honesty, Wisdom and Integrity.  Also symbolize innocence and a pure heart, and help us get in touch with the simple honest things of life.  Pearls are related to Cancer.  Black pearls are linked to Capricorn.

Magical Use:  Pearls provide a clear vehicle for the advancing states of wisdom, as well as a clean channel for receipt of spiritual guidance. They lift your spirits and make you feel calm and beautiful.  Pearls not only provide a mirror in which to see ourselves, but give us insight into how we appear to others. A pearl necklace is believed to warn sensitive people of imminent disaster.

Healing Use: Drinking pearl water regularly over a long period of time stabilizes the production of hormones. Chronic headaches and migraines can be alleviated or cured by wearing a pearl necklace. Pearls also reduce allergies.  Psychologically pearls promote wisdom and contentment.

How to use: Pearls should be worn on the skin and not be allowed to come into contact with perfume or make-up.  Without regular contact with the skin they become dull. 

How to Cleanse:  Pearls must be recharged in an oyster shell and must be discharged overnight in salt sea water.  They should not be stored in the dark or in a drawer.
